Sandra Marie Robinson Warr, age 66, resident of the Moscow Community and retired bus driver for Fayette County School System, departed this life Sunday afternoon, August 2, 2015 at her residence.
Services of Remembrance for Ms. Warr were conducted at 1 P.M. Friday, August 7th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Interment followed in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Moscow. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Ms. Warr was born May 28, 1949 in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Robinson and Gladys Mullins Robinson. She received her education in the Collierville Public School System and was employed with the Fayette County School System as a bus driver for over 20 years before her retirement. Ms. Warr was a lifelong resident of the Fayette and Shelby County areas and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Chuch in Moscow. She enjoyed reading and special times with her family.
Ms. Warr leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Carla Dempsey of Moscow; her sister, Linda Mabry (Paul) of Rossville; her brother, Michael Robinson (Laura) of Moscow; two grandchildren, Victoria “Tori” Dempsey of Moscow, Caleb Dempsey of Moscow; and her niece, Alisha Barnes (Jeff) of Olive Branch, MS.
Ms. Warr was preceded in death by her son, Ollie "Bubba" Warr.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Paul Mabry, Jeff Barnes, Greg Dempsey, Chris Hemple, Travis Cannon and Jimmy Allen.
