Sara F. Hodge

Sara Couch Hodge, age 70, resident of Moline, Illinois with extended family members in Fayette County departed this life Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Heartland Health Care Center in Moline.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Hodge were conducted at 2 P.M. Friday, October 11th in the Hollywood Cemetery in Jackson, Tennessee with a gathering of family and friends prior to the service. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mrs. Hodge was born April 9, 1943 in Jackson, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Carl Couch and Elsie Frances Couch. She was married in October 1962 to Willis L. Hodge, who is the son of Frances Leonard, a former resident of Somerville and LaGrange who now resides in Jackson, who survives. She was an active member of Heritage Wesleyan Church in Rock Island, Illinois and will be remembered for her love of flower gardening and fishing.

In addition to her husband of 51 years, Mrs. Hodge is survived by her son, David Hodge of Moline, Illinois and her mother-in-law, Frances Leonard of Jackson. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Brian Hodge.
