Sharon Lorece Forsyth, resident of the Moscow and Williston Communities, team member for Target in Collierville and wife of Richard Forsyth, departed this life Monday evening, July 28, 2014 at her residence.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Forsyth were conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, August 4th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Brent Wells, pastor of Lakewood Baptist Church in Oakland, officiating. Interment was private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Forsyth was born July 14, 1959 in Memphis, the daughter of Shirley Bradford Smith and the late Kenneth Ira Smith. She received her education in the Memphis City Public School System and was married December 5, 1986 to Richard Forsyth, a cabinet maker, who survives. Mrs. Forsyth resided in the Moscow and Williston Communities for 17 years and was employed with the Target Company in Collierville. She enjoyed scrapbooking and computer games.
In addition to her husband of 27 years, Mrs. Forsyth is survived by her daughter, Marie Swilley (David) of Olive Branch, MS; two sons, Richard Forsyth, Jr. (Karen) of Oakland, Michael Lee of Memphis; her mother, Shirley Smith of Memphis; her sister, Deborah Mafadini of Florida; three brothers, Kevin Smith of Batesville, MS, Kenny Smith of Memphis, Alan Smith of Memphis; and eight grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor's choice.
