Sherie Cox

Sheryl “Sherie” Kay Isenhart Cox, resident of the Oakland Community, retired Funeral Service Practitioner and wife of William H. “Bill” Cox died Sunday morning, October 10, 2010 at the Methodist Hospital of Somerville. She was 62 years of age and died following a brief illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cox were conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday, October 13
th
at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Collierville with Bishop Mike Rowland, officiating. Interment for Mrs. Cox was in the Bountiful Cemetery in Bountiful, Utah. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes—Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Cox was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on July 11, 1948 the daughter of the late Louis Isenhart and the late Pearl Nay Isenhart. She was married to William H. “Bill” Cox and was a graduate of Commonwealth College of Mortuary Science in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Cox was a former resident of Conroe, Texas before moving to West Tennessee.
A Christian and a
dedicated member of her Church, Mrs. Cox enjoyed special times with her family and was devoted in serving others.
Survivors of Mrs. Cox are her husband, William H. “Bill” Cox of Oakland, Tennessee, her daughter, Lorie Coates of Kaysville, Utah, her sisters, Pam Wheeler and Shauna, her brothers, Michael Isenhart, Jeff Isenhart and Barry Isenhart, all of Colorado and Danny Isenhart of New York, her grandsons, Jacob and Mitchell Coates of Kaysville, Utah and a special niece, Denise Collins of Glenwood, Arkansas.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 580 Collierville Arlington Road, Collierville, TN 38017.
