SHERRIE FAYE COOK KEE, 66, resident of Somerville, retired District Convenient Store Manager and wife of R. C. Kee died July 16, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness.
Services for Mrs. Kee were Sunday, July 18th at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville, TN with interment in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Hwy 64 at Oakland, TN. A visitation was from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at the Peebles Main Chapel.
Mrs. Kee was born on November 6, 1943, in Woodbury to the late Palmer J. Cook, Sr. and the late Ira Elkins Cook. In her earlier years, Mrs. Kee was educated in the Cannon County Public School System before moving to Somerville, TN. She was the Manager of Bull Market Convenience Store of Somerville, Tennessee for eight years. A Christian and member of Somerville Church of Christ, Mrs. Kee enjoyed gardening, yard work and cooking.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kee leaves her daughter: Candace Faith Johnson of Jackson, TN, three sisters: Wilma Prater of Clarksville, TN, Louise Lovvorn of McMinnville, TN, Sue Redmon of McMinnville, a brother: P. J. Cook, Jr. of Woodbury, two grandchildren: Ryan Puckett and Heath Puckett, both of Dallas, TX. Mrs. Kee was preceded in death by her children Lisa Faye Dickens and Doran Puckett and her brother, Edward Arnold Cook.
Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
