Shirley Ann Clutts, age 63, lifelong resident of Holly Springs, Mississippi and retired Sunbeam Appliances employee departed this life Monday afternoon, June 10, 2013 at the Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven.
Services for Ms. Clutts will be at 4 Saturday afternoon at the New Hope Baptist Church near Slayden, Mississippi with visitation two hours before services. Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery and arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Ms. Clutts was born May 9, 1950 in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Curtis Clutts and Geneva Ann Crisp Clutts. She received her education in the Holly Springs Public School System and was a lifelong resident of the Holly Springs Community.
Ms. Clutts was employed as a factory worker for Sunbeam Appliances in Holly Springs for 10 years before her retirement in 1998. She was an active member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Slayden, Mississippi and enjoyed family gatherings. Canvas work and crocheting were favorite pastimes.
Ms. Clutts is survived by her daughter, Melissa Ann Bryant (Terry) of Red Banks, MS; her son, John Hutchins of Memphis; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Crisp.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers will be Cory Sweet, Scotty Hutchins, Stephen Bryant, Dusty Stewart, William Brown and Curtis Willis.
Honorary casketbearers will include John Crisp.
