Shirley Ann (Jones) Hopper

Shirley Ann Jones Hopper, age 69, resident of Memphis, formerly of the Oakland Community and companion of Joe Terry departed this life Friday evening, December 13, 2013 at her residence.
Services for Mrs. Hopper will be at 2 Wednesday afternoon at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with visitation two hours before services. Interment will be in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.
Mrs. Hopper is survived by her companion, Joe Terry of Oakland; three daughters, Cathy Penna (Jeff) of Memphis, Samantha McClain of Memphis, Cynthia Fulcher of Drummonds; two sons, Gary Hopper of Memphis, Michael Hopper (Emily) of Hickory Valley; four sisters, Barbara Max of Memphis, Brenda Fuller of Drummonds, Carolyn Carroll of Memphis, Nancy Kennemore of Memphis; six brothers, Fred Jones of Memphis, Wayne Jones of Memphis, James Jones of Memphis, Clyide Jones of Memphis, Rodger Jones of Millington, Alfred Jones of Memphis; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everette Conley Jones and Myrtle Lucille Phillips Jones; her son, Terry Hopper; and her brother, Conley Jones.
