1974—2010
STANLEY HOWARD WRIGHT, JR., resident of Milan, Tennessee and former resident of the Gallaway Community of Fayette County died Friday, July 9, 2010 at the Milan General Hospital. He was 35 years of age and died following an extended illness from a vehicle accident that occurred five years ago.
A Service of Remembrance for Mr. White was conducted at 3 P.M. Monday, July 12th at the Gallaway First Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Grunewald, pastor of the church officiating. Interment followed in the Hood Cemetery in the Warren Community of Fayette County. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes—Main Chapel of Somerville.
A native of Weekly County, Tennessee Mr. Wright was employed in the assembly department of a Fayette County Manufacturer before his accident. He was of the Baptist Faith and his interest included fishing and spectator football and wrestling.
Mr. Wright was born September 28, 1974. He was educated in the Weakly County Public School System and moved to Fayette County at an early age.
Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Johnson Wright who died in the vehicle accident on December 31, 2004. Mr. Wright is survived by his children: Sabrina Gail Wright, Christopher Cody Wright, and Travis Matthew Hunter Wright all of Eads, TN, his mother, Judy Ann Wroten of Idlewild, TN, his step-father, David Boone of Bradford, TN, his brothers, Andy and Joshua Boone, both of Idlewild, his grandmother, Hilda Lindsey of Gallaway, and his mother-in-law, Loretta Johnson of Eads, TN.
Those honored to serve as casket bearers were Donnie Hall, Albert Johnson, Chris Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Larry Miller and Randy Pugh.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Gallaway Baptist Church.
