Steven Thomas Guthrie

Steven Thomas "Steve" Guthrie, age 71, resident of Germantown, Tennessee, departed this life Monday morning, October 9, 2017 at South Breeze Assisted Living in Memphis, Tennessee.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Guthrie will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Advent Presbyterian Church at 1879 N. Germantown Parkway in Cordova, Tennessee. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Guthrie was born June 11, 1946 in Greensburg, Indiana. He received his education in the Indiana School System. He was in sales and served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a former resident of Kansas City, Missouri and he enjoyed his grandchildren and his little dog. Mr. Guthrie was a big Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Mr. Guthrie is survived by his wife who he married March 22, 2002, Betsy Isern Guthrie; two daughters, Angela Guthrie DeVore (Sam) of Mt. Pleasant, MS, Gretchan Guthrie Mishler of Germantown, TN; his brother, Phillip Guthrie of Indianapolis, IN; and two grandchildren, Andrew Cale Mishler and Sammy James Devore II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Robert Guthrie and Ethel Marie Greer Guthrie.
