Steven "Steve" Dugger, Jr.

“Lover of Life and Brother to All”

Steven Gordon Dugger Jr., age 38, died Monday, September 22, 2014 surrounded by his loving family and devoted friends. Steven was born September 29, 1975 in Memphis to Sharon Farris and Steve Dugger of Memphis.

Steven lived a life of service, from his professional life as a server and bartender in the restaurant industry, to his personal life where he was a friend, helper and mentor to whomever needed it. Steven instantly lit up any room that he walked into with his infectious sense of humor and the handsome smile that was always on his face. Those who truly knew him loved him deeply and he had a positive impact on every city that was fortunate enough to host him. Always quick to help with his opinion, he was considerate enough to make sure you didn't have to think of how to end the conversation on your own and we all loved him for it.

A loyal and devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend, Steven leaves behind a mother and step-father, Sharon and Mark Farris of Olive Branch, MS, a father and step-mother, Steve and Patty Dugger of Memphis, TN, a brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Amanda Dugger of St. Petersburg, FL, a brother, Jeremy Dugger of Olive Branch, MS, a step-sister, Ashleigh Long of Horn Lake, MS, a step-sister, Kari Dugger of Fair Hope, AL, a niece, Hannah Dugger, a daughter-in-heart, Samantha Sarkissian, many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, a whole-second family of some of the most loving and dedicated friends a person could ask for, and the entire Pittsburgh Steelers organization.

Memorial Services for Steve were conducted at 11:30 A.M, September 25th at Colonial Hills Church in Southaven, Mississippi. Interment was private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunica Humane Society , P.O. Box 236, Tunica, Mississippi 38676 in honor of Steven's life and love for all beings, especially those with four legs.
