Taiareh Kaveh Mirghahari, resident of the Hickory Withe Community and mother of Ray Mirghahari of the Hickory Withe Community departed this life Tuesday morning, June 18, 2013 at her residence. She was 91 years of age and died following a brief illness.
Graveside Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Mirghahari were conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, June 20th with personal reflections and a meditation given by a special family friend. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center — West Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Mirghahari was born September 12, 1921 in Tehran, Iran. She received her education in the Iranian School System and had lived in the United States for over 40 years. She was married to Bagher Mirghahari who preceded her in death in 1991. Mrs. Mirghahari’s family had been merchants in the United States for a number of years and the Mirghahari family were developers of the Hickory Withe Market and Fuel Center at the intersection of Highway 64 and Highway 196 that continues in operation today.
Mrs. Mirghahari is survived by a large family that include her son, Ray Mirghahari of Hickory Withe and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a matriarch of her family and was loved by many.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
