Ted Alan McWilliams

Ted Alan McWilliams, age 64, resident of the Oakland Community and husband of Lynda Richardson McWilliams, departed this life Monday morning, March 9, 2015 at his residence.
Services for Mr. McWilliams are incomplete. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. McWilliams was born February 9, 1951 in Memphis. He was preceded in death by his parents, James McWilliams, III and Martha Davidson McWilliams. He received his education in the Shelby County Public School System and was a graduate of Oakhaven High School in Memphis and continued his education at Memphis State University. He was married for 40 years to the former Lynda Richardson, who survives. He served as a realtor for many years and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Oakland.
In addition to his wife, Mr. McWilliams is survived by two daughters, Brandy McWilliams of Hernando, MS, Mandy McWilliams of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Paula Hill (Bobby) of Greenwood, MS, Denise Serrano of Davie, FL; and his brother, William McWilliams (Debbie) of Coldwater, MS.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Eileen Baker and his brother, James McWilliams IV.
