Terry Lee Peak

March 4, 1957 — December 21, 2021

Collierville, Tennessee

Mr. Terry Lee Peak (3-4-1957 - 12-21-2021) passed peacefully the morning of the 21st at the age of 64 after an extended illness. Terry will be deeply missed as a son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was born in Memphis, TN to William and Claudine Peak and was the youngest of three children.

Terry was born with Down’s Syndrome, but it only added to his individual spirit and kept his family close. He enjoyed many things which he vibrantly shared with his loved ones and friends. Over the years his passions included wrestling, video games, letters in the mail, scratch off tickets, and excursions to restaurants with his family. One thing he enjoyed most was trips to Beale Street with his favorite niece, Rhonda Toll. He spent many hours there as an honorary DJ at the Stax Museum and dancing to his favorite Soul Music. He enjoyed a particularly close friendship with Miss Sandra Hooker, who shared his love and friendship. For many years Terry was able to enjoy both care and independence, living near his mother. They were able to enjoy many great memories and milestones together.

Terry was preceded in death by his father and mother, and his sister, Patsy Reeves. He is survived by his devoted brother, Billy Ray Peak. He will be deeply missed for his smiles, his chats, and his wonderful personality.
