Terry David Williams, age 63, resident of Rossville and husband of Stephanie Wade Williams, departed this life Thursday morning, January 12, 2017 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Williams were conducted at 11 A.M. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Chaplain Ronnie Pierce officiating. Remarks were given by Todd Reeder. Interment was private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Williams was born July 6, 1953 in Paragould, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Maxel Williams and Mary Ruth Gipson Williams. He was a graduate of Collierville High School and was employed as a trucking operator for 20 years, most recently at Easley Transportation in Memphis. Mr. Williams was a resident of the Rossville and Collierville areas throughout his life and was of the Baptist faith. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Stephanie Wade Williams, whom he married April 7, 2012; four daughters, Shana Ward (Kevin) of Knoxville, TN, Sheena Kathryn Dukes of Cordova, TN, Rayna Rayelle Coleman (John) of Southaven, MS, Breanna Rose Williams of Parker, CO; his son, Raymond Terry Williams of Hernando, MS; his stepdaughter, Heather Leeann Way of Rossville, TN; his stepson, Justin Colby Way (Ashley) of Collierville, TN; two sisters, Denese Bennett (George) of Collierville, TN, Rosemary Reeder of Collierville, TN; his brother, Danny Ray Williams (Beverly) of Collierville, TN; and four grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sandy Williams.
