Terry Ray “T. J.” Hill, Jr., resident of the Grand Valley Lakes Community in Hardeman and son of Sharon Evans Hill and Terry Ray Hill, Sr. died Friday morning, June 17, 2011 as a result of a fire that occurred at the residence of a family member near Medon, TN. T. J. was 15 years of age and died unexpectedly.
Services Celebrating the Life of T. J. were conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, June 30 th at the Harmony Baptist Church in Whiteville with Bro. Fred Campbell of Brownsville, officiating. Interment followed in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery and arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home - Main Chapel of Somerville.
T. J. was born June 7, 1996 in Somerville, the son Sharon Evans Hill and Terry Ray Hill, Sr. T. J. was a special child and will be remembered for his outgoing personality and love that was received and given by his many family members and friends.
T. J. is survived by his father: Terry Ray Hill, Sr. and wife Amy Hill of Medon, TN, his mother: Sharon Hill and husband Larry Barnes of Saulsbury, TN; two sisters: Riley Victoria Hill of Saulsbury, Karlee Brooke Hill of Medon; a brother: Trevor Adam Galloway of Bolivar; his grandparents: Terry and Gracie Hill of Whiteville, Marshall Evans of Brownsville and Michelle Evans of Saulsbury.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Matthew Majors, Austin Johns, Cameron Hill, Trey Hill, Greg Evans and Bryan Kyzar.
Honorary casketbearers were Eugene Thompson and Jerrod McClurg
