Thomas Bradley “Brad” Lackey, resident of Memphis and well known Tattoo Artist with family members in the Oakland and Arlington areas died Wednesday morning, February 9, 2011 in Memphis.  He was 33 years of age and died unexpectedly.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Lachey were conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, February 14 th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Special Remarks given by family members and friends. Interment will be private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes—West Chapel of Oakland.
Mr. Lackey was born October 23, 1977 in Memphis. He received his education in the Memphis City School System and was a lifelong resident of West Tennessee. Mr. Lackey was of the Christian faith and was well known as a Tattoo Artist in Memphis for much of his life, operating the “Tattoo Brad” Studio until his death.
Mr. Lackey will be remembered as a person skilled in drawing and art, often referred to as the “Brightest Star” in the presence of others while displaying his unique artistry.
Survivors of Mr. Lackey include his daughters: Jessie Harrison of Arlington, TN and Claudia Lackey of Collierville, TN; his mother: Angela Woolbright Pulliam of Memphis, TN; his father: Thomas Leroy Lewis of Ripley, MS; his brothers: Tommy Lewis of Louisville, KY and Brandon Lewis of Memphis; and his maternal grandmother: Pat Woolbright of Olive Branch, MS.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
