Tina Maria Conti

Tina Maria Conti (nee Parrish), age 56, lost her valiant fight with cancer on Saturday, 26 February 2022 at Magnolia Regional Health Center, Corinth, Mississippi.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Frank John "Rusty" Conti, her mother, Linda Gail Gautney Parrish, Her brother, Tony Parrish (Angel), nephews Anthony (Stephanie) Parrish, Hunter Parrish, Dustin Parrish, Wesley Smith (Kristi) and nieces Kayla (Andrew), Katie Bayless (Matt), Sarah Ann Wilson, Aunts Patricia Wood and Christine Wisdom, as well as numerous other cousins, great nephews and a great niece. Her father, Roger Dale Parrish, passed away in 2008. Tina’s best friends included Tina Litt and Tina Bryant.

Tina grew up in Florence, Alabama, before moving to Tennessee and graduated from Kingsbury High School.  Tina’s interests included boating, fishing, camping and dancing.  She worked in sales and as a bookkeeper for Southern Automotive of Bartlett, Tennessee for 28 years. While not having children of her own, she doted on her nieces and nephews and fiercely loved her four-legged fur babies, most notably Mickey, Trixie, Tasha, Miller Man and Nikki. Tina had a passion for animal rescue and helped to find homes for many pets.

Tina’s sense of humor and honest way of approaching life is what her loved ones will miss most.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jason Porter, Tina’s Oncologist, at West Cancer Center and Research Institute for his ongoing care and concern during Tina’s illness.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Peebles of Oakland, Tennessee located at 10670 U.S. Highway 64 Somerville, TN 38068. Services were on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 1 P.M. presided by Pastor FD “Chuck” Barritt of Arlington Assembly of God.  Cremation to follow with interment at the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations to an animal rescue of their choice be made in Tina’s name.
