Tonya Marie (Jenkins) Pulido
October 15, 1978 — June 9, 2013
Tonya Marie Jenkins Pulido, resident of Hiram, Georgia with family members in the Mason Community of Tipton and Fayette Counties departed this life Sunday evening, June 9, 2013 at the WellStar Paulding Hospital in Dallas, Georgia. She was 34 years of age and died following a brief illness.
Family Graveside Services of Remembrance for Ms. Pulido will be conducted Saturday, June 22nd at the Robinson Cemetery near Mason and arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center — Main Chapel of Somerville.
Ms. Pulido was born October 15, 1978 in Memphis, the daughter of Robert Jenkins and Linda Martin Jenkins. She received her education in the Memphis City Public School System and was a member of the Church of Christ. She had been a resident of Hiram, Georgia for the past ten years. Her interests included singing, dancing and swimming. She was known for helping others throughout her lifetime and served as a volunteer with the Global Sports Program.
Ms. Pulido is survived by her parents, Robert and Linda Jenkins of Memphis; four sisters, Laticia (Tish) Mitchell of Mason, Melissa Hale of Memphis, Selena Jenkins of Memphis, Ashley Jenkins of Millington; and two brothers, David Jenkins of Oklahoma, Timothy Jenkins of Millington. She was preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Jenkins of Millington.
