Vicki Lynn (Logan) Gray

November 18, 1958 — December 8, 2013

Vicki Lynn Logan Gray, resident of the Laconia Community and native Fayette Countian departed this life Sunday morning, December 8, 2013 at her residence. She was 55 years of age and died following a brief illness.

Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Gray were conducted at 2 P.M. Friday, December 13th at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Bro. Kevin Treadway of Somerville officiating. There will be a Private Family Interment. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center — Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mrs. Gray was born November 18, 1958 in Somerville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Francis Logan and Shelby Jean Pittman Logan, longtime residents of the Laconia Community. She received her education in the Fayette County Public School System and was a homemaker throughout her life. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church and had a lifelong love for pets, including her present dog, Angel. Mrs. Gray was a family-oriented person who enjoyed special times with family and friends.

Mrs. Gray is survived by her brother, Paul David Logan (Lisa Gail) of Somerville; her sister-in-law, Sovellie Paulette Logan of Somerville; her niece, Pauline Michelle Baskerville of Somerville; her nephew, Paul Michael Logan of Somerville; her great niece, Payton Logan of Somerville; her great nephew, P.J. Logan of Somerville; and her companion, Ronald “Goat” Golightly of Somerville.

Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Don Gray and her brother, Michael Wayne Logan.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Fayette County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, c/o Linda Taylor, 16845 U.S. Highway 64, Somerville, TN 38068.
