Virginia Mary Lou Cole

Virginia Mary Lou Cole, age 68, resident of Bolivar, formerly of Memphis with extended family members in Fayette County and retired assembler for Madison-Haywood Developmental Services departed this life Sunday afternoon, March 10, 2013 at her residence.
Services for Mrs. Cole will be at 11 Friday morning at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with visitation one hour before services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Moscow.
Ms. Cole was born October 17, 1944 in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Morgan Cole, Sr. and Lelia Mae McCullough Cole. She received her education in the Lennox School System and was a Baptist in faith.
Ms. Cole was a resident of Bolivar for the last 30 years and was an assembler for the Madison-Haywood Developmental Services before her retirement eight years ago. She enjoyed group outings, family gatherings and get togethers during the holidays.
Ms. Cole is survived by two brothers, John Cole of Cordova, Ben Cole of Collierville; many nieces, nephews, caregivers and friends at the group center. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jewel Balch and her brother, Robert Cole.
