Virginia Elizabeth "Beth" (Graham) Wade

Virginia Elizabeth “Beth” Graham Wade, age 59, resident of Oakland and wife of James Wade, departed this life Wednesday morning, September 19, 2018 at the St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Wade were held at 2 P.M. Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. A.J. Keyte, pastor at the Revolution Church in Oakland, officiating. Special music was provided by Brandi Spicer. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.

Mrs. Wade was born December 27, 1958 in West Memphis, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Bloomington High School in Bloomington, California Class of 1977 and was married July 6, 2002 to James Wade. She was a resident of Oakland for the past 14 years and was the owner of Image Hair Salon in Oakland. Mrs. Wade attended the Life Church in Cordova and loved rescuing animals.

Mrs. Wade is survived by her husband of 16 years, James Wade of Oakland, TN; her daughter, Marlana Balonek of Memphis, TN; her parents, Harrison and Jenny Holmes Graham of Oakland, TN; her grandson, Gavin Graham Burke; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Barry G. Graham.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Donnie Spicer, Alex Hubbard, Chris Hinkley, James DeBlieux, Gavin Burke and Kenny Holmes.
