Vivian A. Bryan

February 12, 1923 — October 24, 2012

Vivian Bryan, age 89, lifelong resident of the Bethany Community, retired cosmetologist and wife of the late Cullen Bryan went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday evening, October 24, 2012 at the Methodist Hospital in Germantown after an extended illness.

Services for Mrs. Bryan will be at 3 Sunday afternoon at the Bethany Christian Church in Eads with interment in the Bethany Cemetery. A visitation for Mrs. Bryan will be from 1 until 3 Sunday afternoon at the Bethany Christian Church. Arrangements will be provided by the Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mrs. Bryan was born February 12, 1923 in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo E. Bryan and Ruth A. Rutledge Bryan. She received her education in the Germantown Public School System and was a graduate of the Poplar Plaza Beauty School. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and preparing food for her family and friends.

She was married October 21, 1939 to Cullen Bryan, who preceded her in death on July 18, 1996. She was an active member of the Bethany Christian Church and loved the Lord. Mrs. Bryan was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Bryan is survived by her children, Etta Ruth Savage (Ron) of Eads, Gary C. Bryan (Jenny) of Fisherville, Sylvia Jane Morris (Bob) of Somerville; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

This is an unbelievable influence on the world when you think about it. She was an amazing woman and will be missed by so many.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Bethany Christian Church, 421 Bethany Road, Eads, TN 38028.
