Wayne Caldwell
November 1, 1939 — January 31, 2015
Larry Wayne Caldwell, age 75, resident of the Somerville Community and retired warehouse manager for the Oak Grove Cotton Gin in Somerville, departed this life Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Mr. Caldwell was born November 1, 1939 in Stanton, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Leroy Caldwell and Cellia Katherine McNabb Caldwell. He received his education in the Fayette County Public School System and was a graduate of Fayette County High School. He was a resident of the Somerville Community for a number of years and served as a warehouse manager for the Oak Grove Cotton Gin in Somerville for many years before his retirement. Mr. Caldwell enjoyed birds and feeding wildlife.
Mr. Caldwell is survived by two daughters, Candyce Sweet (Raven) of Jackson, Tennessee, Sherry Philippart (Robert) of Memphis; his son, Timothy Caldwell of Memphis; his sister, Patricia Cepetelli (Skip) of Florida; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
