Whitney Blair Logan

July 23, 1996 — January 2, 2017

Whitney Blair Logan, age 20, resident of Somerville and daughter of Jimmy and Shelia Logan, departed this life Monday afternoon, January 2, 2017 at the LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis.

Services of Remembrance for Whitney were conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. The officiating ministers were Bro. John Ed Watkins, pastor of the Mercy Bridge Church in Somerville, and Bro. Kevin Treadway of Somerville. Interment followed in the Old Union Cemetery at Laconia. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.

Whitney was born July 23, 1996 in Memphis. She was homeschooled throughout her life and was a member of the Mercy Bridge Church in Somerville. Whitney enjoyed listening to country and gospel music, going to church and special times with her family.

Whitney is survived by her parents, Jimmy Dewayne Logan and Shelia Ann Wilkerson Logan of Somerville, TN; her sister, Reanna Logan of Somerville, TN; and her niece, Skylar Logan of Somerville, TN.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Terry Logan, Charles Logan, Danny Logan, Jr., Danny Logan, Sr., Gary Logan and Mike Phillips.
