William Hank Wood

William Hank “Bill” Wood, resident of Bethel Springs, Tennessee and a special child of God departed this life Monday afternoon, October 14, 2013 at the residence of his parents at Bethel Springs. He was 44 years of age and died of natural causes.
At the request of the family, services and interment for Mr. Wood were private and arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center — Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mr. Wood was born July 10, 1969 in Arcadia, California, the son of Henry Allen Wood and Barbara Jean Maudsley Wood. He was a resident of Waynesville, North Carolina for 21 years and had been a resident of Bethel Springs for four years. In earlier years, he attended Lake Junaluska Elementary School in Waynesville, North Carolina.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wood is survived by his sister, Sandra Henson of Olive Hill, TN; and three brothers, James Wood of Michie, TN, Robert Wood of Springhill, NC and Richard Wood of San Antonio, TX.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
