William Frank McCulley, age 68, resident of Covington and former resident of Fayette County, departed this life Monday morning, April 25, 2016 at his residence.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. McCulley were conducted at 11 A.M. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Kevin Treadway of Somerville officiating. Interment followed in the Walls Cemetery in the Braden Community. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. McCulley was born June 17, 1947 in Memphis. He received his education in the Fayette County Public School System and was a member of the Gallaway Baptist Church. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 35 years and was a painter for many years. Mr. McCulley enjoyed watching game shows, eating and visiting his family members.
Mr. McCulley is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Mae Lowrance and her husband, Howard, of Memphis; his brother, Terry Glenn McCulley of Covington; eleven nephews, nine nieces and a host of great nephews and great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Libby Washington McCulley and Ola Virginia Eubanks McCulley; two sisters, Mary Frances Hurst, Becky Jackson; and two brothers, Jimmy Lee McCulley and Billy Wayne McCulley.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Travis McCulley, Little Bill McCulley, Adam McCarroll, Bobby Kelly, Miles Bouchie and Jason German. Honorary pallbearers were Little David Gruthoff, Chase Bouchie, Rusty Bouchie and Steve Jackson.
