William Randall "Randy" Blizzard

William Randall “Randy” Blizzard, age 69, resident of Arlington, Tennessee and husband of Donna Perkins Blizzard, departed this life Friday evening, February 24, 2023 at his residence.

Randy was born December 27, 1953 in Cordele, Georgia, the son of the late Robert Gene Blizzard and Eloise Tomlinson Blizzard. He was employed as a chemical operator for DuPont for many years. Randy was a hard worker and a very loving husband, father and grandfather. His hobby was helping his family and everyone, always putting everyone before himself. He loved his family, his dogs, Rusty and Jasper and Dallas Cowboys football.

Mr. Blizzard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna Perkins Blizzard; his daughter, Laura Blizzard; his son, Michael Blizzard (Bridget); his sister, Traci Blizzard LeBlanc; two brothers, Gary Blizzard (Timri) and Steve Blizzard; three grandchildren, Lauren Kayla Lemmon, Madison Blizzard and Dallas Blizzard; his great-grandson, Liam Godbold; and one great-granddaughter soon to arrive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Philip Blizzard.

Funeral Services for Mr. Blizzard were held at 2 P.M. Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Ethan Gladney officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Gary Blizzard, David Perkins, Bryan Anderson, Bobby Lunsford, Daniel Lunsford and Will Godbold. Honorary pallbearers included Steve Blizzard.
