William Scott "Scottie" Lawrence

William Scott “Scottie” Lawrence, age 48, resident of Nashville, Tennessee, departed this life Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

Scottie was born July 14, 1975 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Freddie Lawrence and Barbara Sue Wright. He was a resident of Waynesboro, Tennessee where he was employed as a heating and air technician. Scottie attended Wayne County High School and loved fishing.

Mr. Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Ariana Moss of Nashville, TN; four sons, Brensen Lawrence of Waynesboro, TN, Dalton Lawrence of Metropolis, IL; Alex Moss of Nashville, TN and William Moss of Nashville, TN; his parents, Wayne and Sue Lawrence of Waynesboro, TN; his sister, Amanda Dixon (John) of Waynesboro, TN; his brother, Michael Lawrence (Misty) of Arlington, TN; and two nephews, Jacob and Peyton.

A visitation will be from 1 to 3 P.M. Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Memorial Services for Mr. Lawrence will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the Peebles West Chapel with Trey South officiating.
