Bradley Scott Thompson

Bradley Scott Thompson, age 40, resident of Oakland, Tennessee, departed this life Wednesday evening, September 21, 2022.

Bradley was born January 20, 1982 in Union City, Tennessee. He was employed at D’s Automotive and Transmission and loved spending time with his family, especially his children, friends and his dog, Roni. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers and motorcycles, working on vehicles and anything outdoors. Bradley was able to connect with children of all ages because of his personality.

Bradley is survived by his wife, Jimmie Bush Thompson of Oakland, TN; three children, Scott Thompson (Alayna), David Thompson and Miley Thompson, all of Oakland, TN; his sister, Melanie Huggins (Andrew) of Middleton, TN; his mother, Jane King of Somerville, TN; his father, Kenneth Thompson of Oakland, TN; two nieces, Kelsey Glover and Emily Glover of Middleton, TN; and an army of family members and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Troy and Helen Thompson; his maternal grandparents, David and Velma Wilson; and his stepfather, Gene King.

Funeral Services for Bradley were held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Interment followed in the Hood Cemetery in the Warren Community.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Scott Thompson, David Thompson, Chris Loerch, Billy Canaday, Justin German “Juicy”, James Henry Duncan, William Thompson and Michael Thompson. Honorary pallbearers were Kelsey Glover, Emily Glover, John Paul Thompson, C.J. Greenwood, Jeremy Slater and David Holt “Bossman”.
