Brenda Lee LaJoie Spicer
June 19, 1940 — January 30, 2008
BRENDA LEE LaJOIE SPICER, a resident of the Gallaway Community of Fayette County and a Michigan native, died at 7:40 P.M. Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Methodist Hospital North in Memphis where she had been a patient since January 16th. She was 67 years of age and died following a one year illness.
At the request of Mrs. Spicer, her services were private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Spicer was born June 19, 1940, in Caro, Michigan, the daughter of the late Arthur LaJoie and the late Irma Tewley LaJoie. She was educated in the Michigan public school system and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Spicer was a homemaker throughout her life and moved to Fayette County eight years ago to live near her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Tracey Jordan and Melissa Joyner, both of Gallaway; her son, Bryan McCabe of Gallaway; her sister, Sharleen Kring of Rossmore, CA; four grandchildren, Jessica Jordan, Jacob Davis, Wyatt Joyner and Zachary Joyner.
The family request that memorials be directed to the charity or organization of the donor's choice.
