Hazel Price

Mrs. Hazel Price, age 96, former resident of Somerville and wife of the late Jesse Price, Sr., died on Saturday September 9, 2017.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Price were conducted at 10 A.M. Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Interment followed in the Somerville City Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jesse & Maria Price of Woodstock, Georgia; 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Price was active for many years at the First Baptist Church of Somerville, where she worked in the WMU, GA's, Vacation Bible School, Church Choir and Royal Heirs. She was a member of the Somerville Homemakers Club and the Pink Ladies Auxiliary. Upon moving to Georgia, she became active in the Mount Zion Baptist Church, Homemakers Sunday School Class and the Senior Adults program.
