Robert "Bob" Horton

Robert Francis "Bob" Horton, Sr., age 84, resident of Somerville, Tennessee and husband of Charlene Edmonds Horton, departed this life Saturday morning, June 4, 2022 at his home.

Bob was born November 18, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Paul and Alicia Polliham Horton. He was raised in St. Louis and graduated from the St. Louis School of Pharmacy. He was a pharmacist at Grand Junction Pharmacy for 31 years before his retirement. Bob was a longtime resident of Somerville and an active member of the Somerville Country Club.

Mr. Horton is survived by his wife of 39 years, Charlene Edmonds Horton; his daughter, Catherine Hope Horton; three sons, Robert Francis Horton, Jr. (Eleanor), Michael Treadwell Horton (Susan) and Patrick Vincent Horton (Tara); and five grandchildren, Anna Carroll Horton, Aaron Gray Cohen, Harrison Horton, Michael Lamar Cohen and Virginia Aldrich Horton.

A private graveside service for Mr. Horton was held at the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery near Whiteville, Tennessee with Chip Davis officiating.
