William Wesley Lipford

William Wesley Lipford, age 64, resident of Jackson, Tennessee, native of Moscow, Tennessee and husband of Freda Smith Lipford, died Friday morning, November 10, 2017 at the National HealthCare Center in Somerville.

Services of Remembrance for Mr. Lipford were conducted at 11 A.M. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Interment was private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mr. Lipford was born May 31, 1953 in Moscow, Tennessee. He was a graduate of Fayette-Ware High School in Somerville, Tennessee and was employed as a press operator at Carrier Corporation in Collierville, Tennessee before his retirement. He was married January 19, 1979 to the former Freda Smith and he was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Lipford enjoyed fishing and motorsports.

Mr. Lipford is survived by his wife of 38 years, Freda Smith Lipford of Jackson, TN; his stepfather, Thomas York of Somerville, TN; and three brothers, Jimmy D. Lipford (Judy) of Somerville, TN, Stevie R. Lipford (Teresa) of Moscow, TN and Jonathan D. Lipford (Becky) of Memphis, TN.

Mr. Lipford was preceded in death by his parents, William Jeff Lipford and Ollie Mae Cannon and his son, Billy W. Lipford.
